Crystal Palace vs Chelsea: Chelsea faces a tough test Saturday. Fresh off a 4-4 Champions League draw against Ajax, Frank Lampard’s club will challenge a gritty Crystal Palace side Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
Crystal Palace currently sits in ninth place in the Premier League table, while Chelsea are in fourth. The Blues will be without Jorginho, as the star Brazillian midfielder is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card in the PL game against Watford.
The Blues will have their hands full with Roy Hodson’s Palace club. The experienced manager is very adept at attacking his opponent’s weaknesses. Chelsea has had trouble defending set pieces this season, and with Palace having skilled scorers Christian Benteke, who likely will come off the bench, and Jordan Ayew, the Eagles will give Chelsea all it can handle.
Here’s how to watch Chelsea against Crystal Palace online and on TV.

Meanwhile the Eagles were beaten at home by an in-form Leicester City side after Jamie Vardy silenced the hosts are doubling the Foxes’ lead to land another blow onto Crystal Palace.
Chelsea are unbeaten against Roy Hodgson’s side in three, winning them all.
But prior to those victories for Saturday’s hosts, Palace managed to do win back-to-back games over Chelsea back in 2017, which will give some hope at the weekend.
The last time the sides met at Stamford Bridge was back in November last year, and Chelsea, then managed by Maurizio Sarri, came out victorious in a 3-1 victory.
Frank Lampard is expected to have N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley back fit for Saturday’s clash.
Kante was an unused substitute on Wednesday in the Blues’ Champions League tie, and with Jorginho missing through suspension, the Frenchman could slot back into the midfield at the weekend.
Meanwhile Ross Barkley is out of Saturday’s clash against Crystal Palace due to an ankle injury.
Mason Mount is in the squad despite being forced off in the week against Ajax due to an ankle problem, and they will make a late call on his fitness ahead of the game.
Gary Cahill is in line to start for Crystal Palace against his former side. It will be the first time he has returned to Stamford Bridge since leaving Chelsea in the summer.
Chelsea’s home form hasn’t reflected their away performances. Struggling to get over the line at home, off the pace, Frank Lampard will be eager for his side to put another winning performance in, in front of the Stamford Bridge faithful.
Six points clear of fourth, the Blues will be eager to build the gap ahead of the packed festive schedule which is weeks away.
Nothing appears to be going for the Eagles to get a result in West London. Winless in three in the league, and having lost to Chelsea in the three previous meetings between the two clubs.
Prediction: Chelsea 3-1 Crystal Palace
